How to choose a free online AI tool without getting burned

1. Check what happens to your input
   Read the page that says whether your text or file is stored, and for how long.
2. Find the limit before you start
   A free tool with an invisible cap wastes the work you put in before you hit it.
3. Test with something you can verify
   Run the tool on input whose correct answer you already know.
4. Look for a maintained changelog
   An unmaintained tool is a tool that will silently break.
